Does Lugelo work offline?
Yes. The mobile app captures Moments — text, photos, videos, and voice recordings — without an internet connection, and everything syncs automatically when you reconnect.
This is particularly useful for travel journaling in areas with limited connectivity, or for users who prefer to journal in airplane mode. Offline mode is built in by default; there's no setting to enable.
How does sync work across my devices?
Lugelo syncs automatically across all platforms. When you add a Moment on your phone, it appears instantly in your journal on your laptop. When a collaborator adds a photo to a shared journal, you see it in real time. Sync happens in the background — no manual uploads, no version conflicts.
All synced data is encrypted in transit, and media (videos, voice recordings) is streamed on demand rather than downloaded all at once, which saves storage space.
Do I need a VR headset to use VR Storybooks?
No. VR Storybooks work best on Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, or any web XR-compatible browser, but you can also preview your VR storybook in 2D on any device. The 3D experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
